Trail Rules


  1. No alcohol consumption on the trail.
  2. No smoking outside of vehicles.(seasonal)
  3. No kids under 10 years of age outside of vehicles.
  4. Drivers, co-pilot, passengers, and spectators must all sign the waiver.
  5. All trucks, need a co-pilot, double bolted tow hooks, or rear receiver hitch, clevis, tow straps, and tree saver strap if you have a winch.
  6. All equipment should be well secured or tied down!
  7. Use low range and follow direction of the "green" arrows. Always tread lightly on this inter-connecting, ecologically sensitive trail, by offsetting your tire tracks when possible.
  8. Walk through the optional loops, rated 2-10. A section of trail rated "10"is considered extreme, or impossible, with out winching.
  9. Allow the vehicle in front of you room to complete the obstacle before proceeding. Keep the vehicle behind you in sight, particularly if it isn't equipped with a winch.
  10. If you stop to watch trucks in the optional loops, use the designated areas. Avoid parking on the trail.
  11. During recoveries, keep yourself and your party clear of tow ropes and winch lines. Remember to throw a jacket , or winch line weight on the line.
  12. Videographers must get express written permission before using any video filmed on the site for commercial purposes.
  13. Most vehicles end up covered in mud, impairing the driver's vision. This results in Alberta Safari Park, being an EXTREMELY dangerous place for inattentive drivers and spectators alike. Please exercise caution at all times.
  14. All activity are by pre-arranged appointments only! No exceptions.
  15. All dogs must be on leashes or in a truck harness. ( no dogs allowed at some events.
  16. Mufflers are required on all vehicles and exhaust noise must be consistent with 'street-legal' levels.
  17. Please respect the fact that although Alberta Safari Park, does opearate as a business, it is located on private land and within proximity of homes in the surrounding area. Keep noise to a minimum at all times and respect the others in the area when arriving and departing.
